Happy Tuesday my fellow blog readers! Here is hoping your day goes well, mine? well it seems my son ever so kindly decided to share his cold with the entire family, me getting a heavy dose of snotty noses and heavy heads all round.
Anyway, that's enough about the gross stuff, back to todays blog topic at hand. I wanted to revisit a previously discussed topic for those who may have missed it the first time around, and freshen up how you can eat right in order to produce a healthy growing long beard upon your face, so without any more delays, let us begin with How To Eat Your Way To A Better Beard...
RED MEATS ARE YOUR NEW BEST FRIEND!
Firstly, let us look at what it is in certain foods that can actually heighten your body hair growth. It is a little known ingredient naturally sourced in many red meats, known as Biotin. You may have heard me talk about this in many of my previous blog posts.
But what is Biotin?
Biotin it is a water soluble vitamin B, also known as Vitamin B7. It can be discovered in many of our food choices, and you've probably had a dose today without even noticing that you have. You'll find them in these main four food groups, eggs and poultry, nuts such as hazelnut, peanuts and walnuts to name a few, and in whole grain. Dairy and red meats are rich in Biotin as well.
Biotin encourages your body's hair to naturally grow, which can help boost a slow growing beard that otherwise may have felt like it had come to a grinding stop. Biotin also proves rather popular with many females, as a good balance will also repair and encourage better hair and nail growth too.
AN APPLE A DAY WILL DO MORE THAN JUST KEEP THE DOCTOR AWAY!
You've heard of the saying 'an apple a day keep the doctor away', well, it seems that is not all it can do.
A healthy balanced diet with plenty of fruit and vegetables will enrich your metabolism granting you a healthier way of living. Where possible stock up your system with naturally sourced ingredients such as fruit and veggies when and where possible. And try to cut out other nasties such as smoking and drinking where possible too, as these can have a negative impact not only to your beard, but to your health and wellbeing.
BE SURE TO KEEP YOURSELF HYDRATED TOO!
Hydration is important for a wide variety of reasons. Our body's are made up of a whopping 60 to 80 percent water. Water helps regulate your body temperature and improves your bones joints by lubrication. It also helps boost your energy levels by transporting vital nutrients around your body helping you to stay bright eyed, fluffy tailed and healthy.
Without a good balanced hydration your facial hair may grow brittle and weak to the touch, and that is the least of your worries, as your skin will also suffer, with dry, flakey skin providing a terrible platform for just about anything to grow from. So, try to top up your fluids as much as possible my friends, it really is a very important factor.
That sees todays blog come to a sweet close for today my favourite people on the internet. Please be sure to make yourself known in the comments section below, we would love to read your thoughts and feedback.
